Gabe Rosales

Gabriel J Rosales is a professional musician of 26 years, a PhD candidate in the Criminology, Law and Society department and is in recovery from drugs and alcohol. His musical journey has led him to touring internationally on private planes over Europe, to rioting in county jail during his own incarceration. Gabe is an in-prison program provider at RJ Donovan State Prison for Jail Guitar Doors, a rehabilitative songwriting workshop nonprofit, focused on helping incarcerated people address childhood trauma, anger and resentment, and accountability through original songs.
